Shotokan Karate Jutsu Academy

Mr. Burgio began training in 1981 in Philadelphia under Ron Romano Sensei. He continued to train under Sensei Romano until 1986 then he moved out of the area. He resumed training under Sensei Lopresti in 1996. In June of 1999 Mr. Burgio earned the rank of Shodan. In 2002 Paul earned his Nidan or second degree black belt. He is a graduate of the Long Island University Instructor Training Program.

Mr. Burgio attended St. Joes Prep HS and graduated in 1975. He continued his education at St. Joseph's University where he received a BS in Chemistry in 1979. He continued his education at Drexel University where he earned a BS in Chemical Engineering in 1985. He is a senior environmental engineer with the Department of the Navy. Paul is married and lives with his wife and two children in Mullica Hill. Other interests include coaching his youngest son's soccer team, reading, working out in the weight room and spending time with his family.
