Shotokan Karate Jutsu Academy

Jill began her martial arts training back in 1993 under Salvatore Lopresti , Steve Montgomery, Joe Gaspari and Ronnie Romano. Shortly after she began assisting with the childrens program. Shortly after attaining purple belt, she married her instructor Joe Gaspari , beame pregnant , and her training ceased. After having two more children and being away from the martial arts for years, she began training again when her son Nicolas started the karate program at 4 years old. Since that time, four years ago, she has been training faithfully and achieved her Shodan on June 6, 2003 under the watchful eyes of her husband Joe, Sal Lopresti and Paul Lopresti . Since returning to the martial arts she made a commitment to teach the children on a regular basis. She elected to do this because "I love the children that train with us, and also for the betterment of my own karate and in support of my son Nick".
