Lopresti Family Martial Arts

John Paolone Jr. started training Tang Soo Do in 1985. He trained for a couple years until extra curricular activities became too much to allow his training to continue. After high school he searched for a traditional Karaete school so he could begin training again. In 1991 he began training at Club Shotokan in Marlton , NJ under Senseis Salvatore Lopresti Ron Romano and Steve Montgomery. With consistent training and hard work and dedication he achieved 1st degree Black Belt in December 1996. After a political change at his dojo he continued to train under Sensei's Salvatore and Paul Lopresti and in December of 2003 he was graded to Nidan or 2nd Degree Black Belt. Since then he has taken on a steady teaching role at the dojo while continuing his training. In December 2011 he earned the rank of Sandan, 3rd Degree Black Belt under Sensei's Salvatore Lopresti, Ron Romano and Paul Lopresti. John lives in Easthampton, NJ and is a prosthetic technician by trade. He enjoys playing the drums and helping out with local animal rescues.
